AT&T Lights Up NB-IoT Network Across the U.S.

Added to IoTplaybook or last updated on: 05/14/2019

IoT Playbook Insight: Chris Penrose, Intenret of Things SVP at AT&T announced that software upgrades to their 4G LTE cell sites across the U.S. are complete. Those updates include turning on NarrowBand Internet of Things (NB-IoT). Across the country, IoT devices and networks can rely on a cellular network where needed, such as in agriculture where WiFi is sparse. Smart City projects also tend to lean heavily on cellular data networking, as do wearables. If you have customers that can benefit from NB-IoT, check with your AT&T reseller.
