Welcome to December! In the U.S., this week and next are about it for “real work” this year, at least for the non-holiday businesses (and worker attitudes). Work for the holidays and varying gift giving obligations are just ramping up, of course.

Everyone (at least in America) was so focused on what to get dad for Father’s Day that lots of IoT news slipped by. Well, that may not be true if you bought your dad an IoT device, like a surveillance camera so he can see when to run out the front door and yell at those kids to get off his lawn.

Spring flows into summer as attendees flow into conferences and user group meetings. Both (conferences and user group meetings, not spring and summer) are filled with news that flies by quickly. So let’s adjust our IoT news net and grab a few more interesting stories we missed last week.
