Still yawning from losing that hour of sleep Sunday? Feeling rushed? Even though spring doesn’t officially start until March 20 (a day earlier than usual, another reason for feeling squeezed for time), setting the clocks forward seems to announce spring.
We’re mid-way through February, the shortest and least-loved month thanks to lousy weather. True to form, the Northeast and Great Lakes areas are shivering like crazy again. Even Seattle, usually too hipster to suffer terrible weather, got more snow this past weekend than in the average year.
Counting down the days until you get some time off for Thanksgiving? Those of us in the U.S. are certainly yearning for a break. Even if that means you have to be nice to people you didn’t choose to hang with, as in family.
