It’s early days in the Internet of Things, with standards and business models still in flux. But there’s definitely a land grab underway that systems integrators can get in on, according to Benson Chan, senior partner at Strategy of Things, an IoT consultancy. “On the buyer’s side, although there’s a lot of excitement about IoT, we’re finding that a lot of them don’t know what IoT is. They’re doing projects, but they’re small projects. They’re really looking for projects that solve problems,” he says.
